Balaji Agarbatti’s unstoppable journey of 66 years; marked by braving storms and all odds is worth a mention. Since 1957, Balaji is a large product group that manufactures; agarbatti, dhoop, dry stick, backflow cones, sambrani cups, and long supersized agarbatties! Apart from incense products, the company is also into soaps and roll-on perfumes. More than 500 products are sold throughout the country and exported to over 20 countries. Their products are in huge demand on online marketplaces as well.

 

Balaji inaugurated a new and state-of-the-art factory in Bangalore this February. The old factory was gutted in a massive fire that destroyed everything. The company’s goodwill helped build a new one: thanks to the distributors, suppliers, well-wishers and associates, production commenced within a few days. Balaji factory launch was a grand celebration of three days. The owners and the management group invited distributors, suppliers, agents and associates on the 4th. & 5th. Feb. This was a way to show Balaji’s gratitude towards their well-wishers. More than three hundred; distributors, suppliers, and agents from different states were present during the factory launch in Bangalore.

 

Kantilal Z Shah (Founder, Bindu Incense Group (Bindi Agarbathi Company)), Jayesh Z Shah (Chairman, Balaji), Ashish K Shah ( Managing Partner, Balaji), Nainesh K Shah(Managing Partner, Balaji), Dixit K Shah (Managing Partner, Balaji), Dipen K Haria (Managing Partner, BIC), Rohit D Savla (Managing Partner, BIC) , Rahul D Savla (Managing Partner, BIC), and other key functionaries welcomed the guests and gave speeches. During the ceremony, Balaji launched five new ranges of agarbattis namely; White Swan, Desh Mere, Banaras, Royal Bengal and Heroes.

 

The company announced, a part of the proceeds from Heroes Agarbatti shall go to the families of  the martyrs of Indian Armed Forces. Likewise, proceeds from ‘Royal Bengal’ (agarbatti) shall go for the conservation of Royal Bengal Tiger. The company also honoured and awarded its distributors for their remarkable performance over the past few years. The ceremony also saw a motivational session by renowned speaker Jagdish Joshi followed by a musical evening with Hitesh Mehta.
