Our machines can dry Agarbatti and Dhoop in just 2 to 4 hours even during the rainy season: Kalpesh Shah

Steamtech Engineers, based in Rajkot, Gujarat, India, has developed innovative solutions to address the challenges faced by agarbatti (incense stick) production, especially during seasons with low temperature, low humidity, such as winter and high humidity such as rainy season. Steamtech Engineers are pioneer in manufacturing Agarbatti and Dhoop Heat Dryer. The company specializes in the production of dryer machines designed specifically for removing moisture from dhoop-agarbatti products. Through extensive research and development efforts, Steamtech Engineers has obtained patents for a range of dryer machines, accommodating quantities from 32 kilograms to 9000 Kilograms per batch of agarbattis. These machines are engineered to meet the unique moisture removal needs of manufacturers, ensuring optimal product quality. Steamtech Engineers dryer machines not only cater to the incense stick industry but also to cotton, food products, plants, fryums, maize, soybean, peanut, paddy, dal, pulse, leaves, seed, grain, spices and matchsticks. Agarbatti and dhoop dryers are in demand throughout various industries across the globe.

Steamtech Engineers mentions that the firm maintains its own research and development unit, where machines are tailored to meet specific requirements and subsequently receive patents. Extensive research is dedicated to addressing the global shortage of suitable drying solutions, as currently available options do not adequately meet industry needs. Apart from serving India’s dhoop and agarbatti industry, Steamtech Engineers also exports its drying machines to Australia, Bhutan, and various African countries. Agarbatti and Dhoop dryer machines are entirely manufactured using indigenous technology, representing a prime example of the “Make in India” initiative.

In a conversation with Sugandh India, Steamtech Engineers highlighted the rapid growth of the agarbatti industry over the past four years. Previously, raw agarbatti was imported from Vietnam, and manufacturers would dip it in scented oil before drying it. However, the government banned these imports to support domestic industries, leading to a surge in agarbatti manufacturing. Companies of all sizes, from small-scale producers to large corporations, entered the market to meet the increasing nationwide demand. This surge in production necessitated more efficient agarbatti drying solutions, especially during seasons of high demand.

During the rainy season and winter, when demand is high, companies engage in bulk production. However, the challenge of rapid drying becomes more pronounced, especially for small-scale industries with limited factory space. Steamtech Engineers recognized this challenge and developed Agarbatti and Dhoop Heat dryer machines tailored to address it. Steamtech Engineers machines are space-efficient and offer quick drying capabilities, providing a solution to the traditional drying of agarbattis in sunlight on plastic surfaces or open space.

Steamtech Engineers offers High-Speed Fully Automatic Fast Dryer technology that can dry Agarbatti and Dhoop in just 2 to 4 hours even during the rainy season. What sets these dryers apart is their space-efficient design, allowing installation even in limited spaces, which can significantly boost your production capacity. These Agarbatti and Dhoop dryers are known for their cost-effectiveness, ensuring the lowest drying costs. Heat Dryers provide uniform and gentle drying, preventing fungal growth, even during the rainy season when production could be a challenge. The Heat dryers also address issues like bending in Agarbatti and Dhoop, offering consistent drying throughout the process. With a proven track record and a commitment to avoiding trial and error, these dryers are built for top-notch durability. Investing in these dryers can potentially increase your production capacity by up to four times without requiring additional space.

Today, Steamtech Engineers serves major brands like Cycle Agarbatti, Zed Black, Moksh, Abhinav Incense, among others. Heat dryers, available in various sizes, occupy minimal space and speed up the drying process. They offer machines suitable for both large-scale industries, including 9000 Kg agarbatti drying machines, and smaller industries, with options like 65 kg, 125 kg, and 250 kg machines. Recognizing the need for even smaller-scale machinery, Steamtech Engineers recently introduced a 32 kg agarbatti drying machine to cater to cottage industry manufacturers in different states.

In response to a query, Steamtech Engineers explained that their company primarily manufactures machines based on specific demands and requirements from manufacturers. These demands vary from one client to another, and they tailor their machines accordingly. An interesting example from 2004 was when they installed 10-15 machines designed to address moisture issues in cotton processing.

Additionally, an Australian company approached them with a unique request—to develop a machine capable of removing moisture from basil leaves. Despite being a technologically advanced country, Australia lacked a suitable machine for this purpose. Steamtech Engineers rose to the challenge, customizing a machine according to the Australian company’s specifications. After successful trials, the machine was ready for use. Steamtech Engineers also exports their machines to countries like Africa and Bhutan, showcasing their ability to provide solutions to various challenges as they arise. When describing the operation of these dryer machines, Steamtech Engineers pointed out that there are two main types: fan dryers and heat dryers. Fan dryers, designed for summer use, are particularly energy-efficient during this season. This is because they require less heat energy, making them a cost-effective choice. Heat dryers, on the other hand, are used during the monsoon/rainy season or winter season when more heat is needed for effective drying.

During a conversation with Sugandh India, Steamtech Engineers mentioned their participation in the recent AIAMA Expo in Bangalore. They noted that visitors to their stall came with a diverse range of requirements. One visitor, for instance, sought a solution to remove moisture from plant roots without compromising their quality. Steamtech Engineers successfully met this specific requirement. When asked about the industries they currently serve, Steamtech Engineers explained that they supply dryer machines for various applications. These include removing moisture from cotton, different types of vegetables, medicinal plants, herbs, spices, and matchsticks. Their expertise extends to catering to the needs of these diverse industries.

In response to an inquiry, Steamtech Engineers explained that their machines are engineered to be highly energy-efficient and versatile in terms of fuel sources. They can operate on gas, electricity, wood fire, and diesel, making them suitable for use in various settings. Steamtech Engineers concluded the conversation by emphasizing their commitment to addressing customer challenges and ensuring customer satisfaction.
