Glimpse of AIAMA Expo 2022
Shri Basavaraj Bommai. The Chief Minister of Karnataka inaugurated ‘AIAMA Expo 2022’ at Bangalore on November 24th. The three-day grand international expo was presided over by the Union Minister of State for Agriculture, Ms Shobha Karandjale. Karnataka-state Industries Minister Murugesh Nigrani and Mr Kedar Vaze, CEO of SH Kelkar & Co. were the chief guests.
The expo witnessed interactive sessions on; Packaging, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce, Raw Materials and Perfumery. Leading perfumers, marketing experts and professors from leading universities and institutes expressed their views. Organized on the theme ‘Traditional Modern’— The delegates from different parts of the country were at their best representing their traditions and culture.
The Department of Posts released a set of picture postcards on the occasion of the Agarbatti Expo. Spread across approximately 1,20,000 square feet, the expo witnessed intense discussions every day, covering various aspects related to the industry. Discussions were held on new-age marketing, availability of raw materials, new fragrances and packaging and increasing export opportunities. More than 5000 delegates attended the event. More than 500 stalls were put up by various producers belonging to the agarbatti industry, showcasing samples of amazing products. Food, snacks and cultural programs were organized daily during the event.
