Scholarship for 40 differently abled meritorious girl students worth ten lakhs

Not just perfuming homes but lives as well. N Ranga Rao & Sons, owners and manufacturers of Cycle Pure Agarbatthi are doing their bit in lighting up the lives of young girls. The largest manufacturers and exporters in the incense business are going to dedicate a generous amount for the education and welfare of forty differently abled girls. Announcing the project Arjun Ranga, Managing Director, Cycle Pure Agarbathi will donate 10 lakh rupees to 40 differently-abled meritorious girl students from across Tamil Nadu between twelve to seventeen years. This donation is towards a five-year scholarship programme.
In recognizing the International Day of the Girl Child, N Ranga Rao & Sons join the global celebration. “Our Time is Now – Our Rights, Our Future!” is this year’s theme. The event also witnessed the unveiling of TVCs featuring renowned TV artists such as K.S Suchitra, Sathish Kumar, Vidhya Mohan, Riya Manoj, Nithish Kutty, Meera Krishnan, Ananda Selvan, and Swathi Sharma. The TV Campaign was directed by the Late Mr. Shanmugam. His mother, Mrs. Ulagammal was present at the event on his behalf. Speaking about the scholarship programme introduced for the Girl Child, Mr. Arjun Ranga said, “We are committed to uplifting the girl child and empowering them to have access to quality education. The initiative will also elevate their families from financial challenges to a certain extent. The girls that we are looking at for this scholarship should belong to underprivileged families who cannot afford education. The parents of the 8 girls that we have already identified for the scholarship are struggling
daily wagers, and it is a challenge for them to provide education to their children.” The number of scholarships will be increased, and this initiative will be made an annual feature so that many more children can benefit from this program,” said Mr. Ranga.
