Aarna Camphor Diffusers are Equipped with Several Safety Features: Gaurav Kukarvadiya

Shivansh Technology makes advanced Camphor Diffuser

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of camphor tablets or aroma oil in camphor diffusers, also known as Kapoor Dani, has rapidly increased across the country. Both camphor and aroma oil can be used in a camphor diffuser. It is a product that naturally works as a room freshener, helps purify the air and surroundings, and spreads positive energy. Its fragrance also helps keep mosquitoes away.  Ahmedabad based Shivansh Technology has been manufacturing a special range of camphor diffusers for the past six years. Company head Mr. Gaurav Kukarvadiya, in an exclusive conversation with Sugandh India, said that their Kapoor Dani is completely different from other camphor diffusers available in the market.

It has been designed so that it can also be used as a night lamp and is completely shockproof. It also has an automatic on-off feature. This is why, when camphor or aroma oil is placed in it and heated, its fragrance continues to remain for a long time.

Mr Gaurav himself is an electronics engineer, and he told Sugandh India that they started making camphor diffusers before Covid and currently have three-four products. He said that their products have many features that make them completely different from other camphor diffusers sold in the market. He said that normally, a diffuser made of steel or other metal and becomes hot when operated for a long duration, and if a child or person touches it, there is a chance of getting burned. Besides this, if it is left switched on and forgotten, there is a risk of fire. He said that compared to other camphor diffusers available in the market, we have made our products using a special type of plastic. There is no possibility of burning or short-circuiting even when it becomes excessively hot. Our Kapoor Dani remains switched on for 10-12 minutes and then automatically switches off. After a short while, it switches on again and then turns off. In this way, the fragrance of camphor or aroma oil continues to spread for a long time.

He told Sugandh India that besides this, they have designed it in a very attractive manner. It is also fancy and can be used as a night lamp. It features various religious symbols, pictures of gods, birds, flowers, leaves and other

designs. This is why it is also getting popular for corporate gifting. He said that as per the requirement, the company logo can also be printed on it. Besides this, we have recently launched another camphor diffuser under the brand name Aarna. It also has a fuse and operates with an automatic on-off function. It has all the basic functions of the earlier model, but the night lamp has been removed for regular use and an economical price. He said that Aarna brand product is 30-35% cheaper than our other premium model. If someone wants a product for regular use at a lower price, this is a good option. In response to a question, he said that our product may appear ₹10-20 more expensive than other camphor diffusers, but it has more safety features and is a durable product designed to last for a long time.

Mr. Gaurav told Sugandh India that their third product is under the Galaxy series, which is available in glass or ceramic. Its ceramic version is of better quality than steel and plastic. Thus, we currently have products in three ranges, and we will soon be launching two-three more products. In response to a question, he said that for the past six years, its marketing was mainly carried out through Amazon, Flipkart and other online platforms, but now we are taking it to retail stores in several states. He said that Shivansh Technology’s camphor diffusers are very popular in Gujarat and Maharashtra, but are now reaching several other states including Kolkata, Uttar Pradesh,

Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Kerala. So far, we have reached almost half of the country, and our plan is to soon become a pan-India brand. In response to a question, he said that the use of Kapoor Dani in India began growing rapidly after the Corona pandemic, and its market is expanding. Although a large number of people still do not know about this product, awareness is gradually increasing. He said that the use of Kapoor Dani is rapidly increasing because it allows users to get the complete output of camphor and aroma oil, and people who learn about it and use it even once continue to use it regularly.
